JANUARY 30, 2023:
THE POND HOCKEY PLAYOFFS AT LAKE PARAN, scheduled for February 3-5 is CANCELLED.
due to warmer weather temperatures most of January and not finding out that LP was a possible location both which effected registration totals, we have decided to Cancel. As of today, January 30th, 39 teams fully signed up, so we regretfully make the decision to re-market the event this coming May, book it to full capacity of 100+ TEAMS over the summer. Additionally, we had 33 more teams submit Pre Registration but did not commit over the last 4 weeks, mostly watching the weather and ironically the weather incoming looks great the next 10 days. MOTHER NATURE !
REFUNDS / MORE:
Teams who submitted a full team payment can opt for a Refund or staying signed up. Teams that stay signed up GET TO SELECT THEIR ICE TIMES instead of having their game times randomly drawn by a computer as the 2024 event gets closer. I
In addition, each player listed on your Teams Registration gets a FREE $50-75 OFF

HockeyTown Pro Shop has secured beautiful Lake Paran in Bennington, Vermont just 28 miles from Albany's Capital Region for 3 days of puck chasing team play with other events running together all making up North Bennington's Winter Fest 2023. (Lake Paran Winter Fest Link to post shortly).

Tournament Info:
4 on 4 lake hockey. No goalies. Adult co-ed 21+. 3 day Round Robin Playoff. 4 game team minimum.
Games are all 45 minutes (3 -15 min periods), with a winning CASH prize for each bracket Champion (the value/tba). Teams enter to compete in1 of 2 division brackets based on the overall team skill level provided by team captain. 8 players max Per Team.

LAKE IS DIVIDED INTO 10 RINKS:
GAMES START EVERY Hr on the Hr / ALL WEEKEND
Friday Feb 3rd: Games start at 10am, continuing thru 10pm.
Saturday Feb 4th: 8am - 8pm
Sunday Feb 5th: Crossover Playoffs: 9am start with Championships ending by 4pm.
Referees and scorekeepers track total goals and game results, which post online daily.
Team Captains will Pre-register for their team by emailing above first using a team name.
You'll then proceed to the registration link to officially enter. Roster names are not required to officially register your team, you'll have until Jan 31 to fill out your online roster
